MSc in “Advanced Systems of Production, Automation, and Robotics”

The Technical Education Departments of Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering of the TEI of Crete jointly offer a Master’s Degree Program on “Advanced Systems on Production, Automation, and Robotics”, leading to the acquisition of a recognized Master’s Degree.

The program is approved by the Ministry of Education, Lifelong Learning, and Religious Affairs (Government Gazette No. F1284, Issue B, 11/04/2012). It has a duration of 4 semesters, three of which require attending 11 postgraduate courses while the fourth requires the preparation of a Master’s thesis. Moreover, the option to study part-time for 6 semesters is also provided, which is offered mainly to students who have already found employment.

Graduates of the Departments of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Physics and other related specialties can all be accepted to the Program. The students will be chosen based on: degree grade, grades in specific undergraduate courses, knowledge of English, professional or research experience in this subject, as well as the general impression the candidate will leave during the personal interview.

In addition to the normal admissions, one (1) scholarship holder funded by the State Scholarship Foundation (I.K.Y.) will also be admitted, after having succeeded in the relevant national postgraduate competition on the field covered by the Program, as well as one (1) foreign scholarship holder funded by the Greek State.
